The president has spoken. As news broke that federal preemption of state-level artificial intelligence (AI) regulation is back in legislative consideration with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Trump fired off another one of his tweets.
“Overregulation by the States is threatening to undermine this Growth Engine,” Trump shared via Truth Social. He stated clearly: “We MUST have one Federal Standard instead of a patchwork of 50 State Regulatory Regimes.”
